1. Although we are discussing issues related to adult children and their need for independence, we recognize that there are some who will always be dependent on others. We are referring to those who are physically or mentally handicapped. These individuals certainly have our love and respect, and in no way is there any criticism intended on this site. We also recognize that parents in this situation are deserving of our encouragement and support.
2. The intent of this site is not to criticize, but rather, to encourage family harmony, and to support others in achieving this goal. We invite the comments of all. However, any foul or indecent language will result in the individual's post being removed and probable banning from the site.
